Solar landscape & spot lights

Landscape lighting is accent work: picking out a tree, a sign, a water feature or a façade so the garden reads at night. The catalogue's spot offer is compact — two recorded models with different mounting logics — and both are built for the same programme as the lawn and string lights on the garden pages.

Solar garden landscape spotlight

The feature spotlight is an aluminium-bodied unit rated IP65, with output recorded at 100–200 lm and a 120° beam. The record lists the options independently: panels of 4 V 3 W or 5 V 2 W, and batteries of 3.2 V 32700 4500 mAh or 3.7 V 2200 mAh — the pairing of panel to battery for a given order is confirmed at quote stage. Colour options cover 3000 K, 6000 K and RGB, the recorded service life is 50,000 hours, and the colour rendering index is 80. It is the strongest accent tool in the garden range and the natural partner to the lawn lights: markers for the route, spots for the features.

Solar ground spotlight (PY-S4115S-60)

The ground spotlight takes the opposite mounting logic: a low, ground-set fitting (0.48 kg) that grazes light across a surface. The record gives IP65 sealing and a 3000–6000 K colour range. It suits path surfaces, step edges and driveway borders — the jobs detailed on the pathway lights page — and combines with the landscape spotlight where a route also has features worth accenting.

Designing with the two spots

Are the spotlights adjustable?

The landscape spotlight is an accent fitting with a 120° beam; confirm the bracket and tilt arrangement for the current build when you enquire.

Can spots and lawn lights ship together?

Yes — the garden range consolidates into one programme; list quantities per model.

Aiming accent light like a landscaper

Accent lighting is subtraction: the features you light are the ones the garden shows at night, so choose few and light them well. Uplight one specimen tree rather than washing the whole hedge; graze a textured wall from close range so the relief throws shadows; put a single spot on the water feature and let movement do the rest. The landscape spotlight's 120° beam is wide for accent work, which suits it to specimen planting and signage rather than needle-thin effects — and the RGB option exists for the programmes (events, hospitality, seasonal display) where colour is the point. Keep glare out of seating sightlines: a spotlight you can see the face of is a spotlight aimed at the audience.

Spotlights for signage and commercial frontage

Beyond the garden, the landscape spotlight's natural second market is commercial frontage: shop signs, menu boards, monument lettering and the planted borders of hospitality entrances, where a wired installation would mean trenching across finished landscaping. Solar spots drop in without the trench, and the aluminium body reads as permanent infrastructure rather than a temporary fix. The programme discipline is uniformity — one format across the frontage, aimed with intent, with the RGB option reserved for the seasonal moments when the frontage wants to perform. Property programmes standardising on one accent format also simplify the spares shelf to a single box.
